agreement describes the legal framework in which you participate with home-from-home-edinburgh.co.uk,
what your rights and responsibilities are and what you can expect from us. All
use of the Site and use of the booking services are on the terms and conditions
below. If you do not agree to these conditions cease use of the Site immediately.
Your use of this Website constitutes your agreement to all terms, conditions,
and notices contained herein. This agreement and our privacy
statement (which is part of this agreement) constitute the entire agreement,
and supersede any other agreements or understandings (oral or written), between
you and us with respect to their subject matters. You may print and keep a copy
of these Terms. They are a legal agreement between you and home-from-home-edinburgh.co.uk
and can only be modified with our consent. We reserve the right to change the
Terms at our discretion by changing them on the Website. Making Bookings
and Cancellations Making a booking with home-from-home-edinburgh.co.uk
constitutes a contract for the accommodation between you and home-from-home-edinburgh.co.uk
('we', 'us', 'our'). When you make a booking a legally binding agreement is made
when all your details have been provided and the booking has been confirmed. A
valid credit / debit card is required to secure the booking and must remain valid
for the duration of your stay. Please note that there is a minimum length of stay
of 2 nights. If your chosen dates are unavailable we will recommend the nearest
alternative. You are under no obligation to accept this recommendation.
You undertake that the details you or members of your household provide us with
in making a booking are true and accurate and without limitation. You agree that
the reservations facilities of this Website shall be used only to make legitimate
reservations or purchases for you or for another person for whom you are legally
authorised to act. Only the named people on the booking form may occupy the property
and any change or extra people will automatically and without notice bring the
contract to an end. Arrangements for checkout and key collection must
be made at least 2 working days prior to the departure date. You can make
cancellations by contacting us in writing directly at least 48 hours prior to
arrival. Failure to cancel a reservation within this timeframe constitutes an
agreement to pay the outstanding balance in full. Your card will only be debited
in the event of a late cancellation or should you fail to arrive. We do not accept
liability for any cancellation charges incurred, special, indirect or consequential
damages or any damages whatsoever, including loss of profits or data, arising
from a cancellation. We strongly advise that you take out appropriate travel insurance
prior to this or any other vacation / trip. Payment In order
to make a booking you must be over 18 years old
and have the legal capacity to make the transaction. You undertake that the credit
or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds to
cover the cost of the transaction. You accept financial responsibility for all
transactions made under your name or account. 50% of the total cost of the
booking is required at the time of booking, the balance required on arrival. Payment
is accepted in the form of cash, credit or debit card; card payments being subject
to a 3% surcharge. Pricing We reserve the right to change
pricing information. Any bookings made prior to the publishing of new rates will
be honoured at the time of booking. Room rates are charged in pounds sterling.
You are advised to check the currency conversion rates if you are making bookings
from outside the UK. Currency rates will apply at the time your card is charged
and may vary between initial booking and final payment. A £20.00
deposit is required for the keys, which is refunded on check-out. Prices
include gas, electricity, taxes, linen, towels and a cleanout. Telephone calls
are metered separately for the cost of calls made during your stay and these will
be charged to your card. Any damages/breakages will be charged against
your card at our discretion. Terms
of Occupancy Properties may be occupied from 14.00 pm with departure by
11.00 am unless specifically requested and agreed. Occupants must undertake
not to make any alterations, additions to, or take away from the premises any
of its contents, nor to create cause to require redecoration or repair to the
property. To quietly enjoy the property and not create such noise or nuisance
as to cause complaint from neighbours, especially after 11.00 pm and before 8.00
am. If complaints or any disputes arise which give cause for disturbance, we reserve
the right to terminate your stay without notice being given. No professional business
may be carried out on the premises. No animals are allowed in any property
unless previously and specifically agreed in advance with us. No Smoking
is permitted in any property unless otherwise indicated. If any extra
services are required, we can make suitable arrangements on your behalf at your
request. We will determine costs beforehand and advise you accordingly.
Accuracy of Information and Disclaimer We do our best to ensure all information
on the Site is accurate, up to date and complete. If you find any inaccurate information
on the Site let us know and we will correct it, where we agree, as soon as practicable.
We accept no liability for any loss or damage caused by inaccurate information.
This Site provides a large amount of information and there may be errors in it.
We accept no liability and offer no warranties in relation to it and its content,
to the fullest extent such liability can be excluded by law. Any views expressed
in Hotel Reviews, Destination Guides or any other messages which are sent to us
to be published on the Site ('Postings') are not necessarily those of home-from-home-edinburgh.co.uk
or anyone connected with it. Intellectual
Property on the Site The Site contains copyright material, trade names
and other proprietary information, including, but not limited to, text, software,
photos, graphics and may in future include video, graphics, music and sound. The
entire contents of the Site are protected by copyright law. We, or our licensors,
own the copyright and/or database rights in the selection, coordination, arrangement
and enhancement of such content, as well as in the content original to it. You
may not modify, publish, transmit, participate in the transfer or sale, create
derivative works, or in any way exploit, any of the content, in whole or in part
except as provided in these Terms. You may download information from
the Site for your own personal use only. Except as otherwise expressly permitted
under copyright law, no copying, redistribution, retransmission, publication or
commercial exploitation of downloaded material will be permitted without our express
permission and that of the copyright owner. In the event of any permitted copying,
redistribution or publication of copyright material, no changes in or deletion
of author attribution, trademark legend or copyright notice shall be made. You
acknowledge that you do not acquire any ownership rights by downloading copyright

site are our trade marks. You may not use those trade marks without our consent.

Our total liability to you is limited to the value of your booking.
Barring from the Site We reserve the right to bar users from the Site,
on a permanent or temporary basis at our discretion. Any such user shall be notified

services or goods provided by those whom we mention on our site or to whom we
have linked our Site. It is for you to make your own judgment about the quality

Legal Jurisdiction and Law Scottish law shall apply to these Terms,
notwithstanding the jurisdiction where you are based. You irrevocably agree that
the courts of Scotland shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute
which may arise out of, under, or in connection with these Terms. We
make no warranty or guarantee that the Site or information available over it complies
with laws other than those of Scotland. General Any formal
legal notices should be sent to us at the address at the end of these Terms by
email confirmed by post. Failure by us to enforce a right does not result
in waiver of such right. You may not assign or transfer your rights under this
agreement. We may amend these Terms at any time by posting a variation on the
Site. The Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 shall not apply to these
